The Lac Blanc is an alpine lake sitting at 2352m located in the Aiguilles Rouges mountain range. This hike starts from Flégère gondola lift (check the tab “Meeting Point”). From the mid station, follow the 4WD track and then the trail leading to the Lac Blanc. At the Lac Blanc refuge just above the lake, take your lunch and enjoy the view.
Depending of the season, the lake might be frozen. You can realize a loop towards Lacs des Chéserys giving you another wonderful point of view in a more peaceful atmosphere. Complete the loop following the “Grand Balcon Sud” track to return to the mid station.
